  • October 2015 to January 2016  – has 4 red devil chemo sessions (once every 3 weeks)

  • February 2016 – begins weekly chemo sessions for a further 2 months

  • 25 February2016 – hijacked and abducted by gunpoint.  Car stolen and money taken out of her bank account, jewellery, cash, personal items stolen.  Left on the side of the road after been driven around by her two abductors for a number of hours.

  • 16 March 2016 – finished her weekly chemo sessions

  • April 2016 – collapses at home and doctors discover a lesion on her brain

  • 5 May 2016 – has brain surgery to remove the lesion

  • Mid -May 2016 – doctors confirm she has brain cancer

  • 31 May 2016 – starts intensive breast radiation treatment

  • 8 June 2016 – starts intensive brain radiation and continues with simultaneous breast radiation treatment

  • 26 June – Inez celebrates her 49th birthday

As a result, Inez cannot be on her own for fear of her suffering seizures from her chronic medication and brain surgery.   She also has to re-learn how to write, recognize words, how to form sentences etc.  She also can no longer drive, run her own home, or care independently for her dogs or herself anymore.
